Product Overview
New from Simpson Strong-Tie, the GCN-MEPMAG (GCN-MEPMAGKT) gas actuated concrete pin nailer kit drives 1/2″ to 1-1/2″ collated concrete pins. No hose or compressor required; this Simpson cordless steel pin nailer runs on 6V NiMH battery-power with fuel cell. The GCN-MEPMAGKT can drive approximately 3,300 pins per battery charge, and 1,200 pins when using a GFC34 fuel cell. Note: The Powers Trak-it blue gas fuel cell (55010) is comparable to the GFC34. Designed with a removable magazine, this gas concrete nailer kit offers the flexibility in selecting between single-shot or full magazine firing. The GCN-MEPMAG’s magazine is designed to retain two pins during use, to prevent dry firing. The Simpson GCN-MEPMAG has a built-in magnetic nose piece, eliminating the need for purchasing a metal washer attachment. This fuel-powered concrete nailer features an efficient ignition system, providing complete fuel combustion; this results in a cleaner operating tool, more tool energy, and higher productivity than the GCN150KT. The Simpson GCN-MEPMAGKT gas pin nailer only requires cleaning once every 20,000 shots. Additional features on this gas powered nailer include a pin-depth adjustment dial, battery charge indicator light, comfortable rubber handle, and ladder hook. The GCN-MEPMAG gas concrete nailer kit includes two NiMH batteries, charger, charger adapter, rugged tool box, allen wrenches, owner’s manual, safety glasses and ear plugs. The Simpson GCN-MEPMAGKT is ideal for attaching drywall track, furring strips, hat track and angle track. This Simpson fuel-powered concrete nailer kit includes a manufacturer’s one-year warranty.
